The foundry group IAC (International Aluminum Casting) consists of five foundries in Sweden and one in Estonia. The IAC Hultsfred plant is the group’s largest and works mainly for the automotive industry. At IAC Hultsfred, where Benny Israelsson, Plant Manager, and Ted Rintala, Foundry and Maintenance Manager, are active, extensive work is underway with both development and expansion of the business. A major expansion of the factory is planned in the near future.
IAC is part of the Grönskär Group AB, and IAC’s factories together form one of the largest players in aluminum casting in the Nordic region. They handle both gravity die-casting and die-casting throughout the entire process, from casting blanks to finished products, including machining, surface treatment, assembly and painting.
